Where and When For Soccer Games?
All ages these games will be played at the Super Block off of Lewis Lane in Carbondale on Saturday mornings, with one weekday game during the season.
For Spring 2016, games will begin on Saturday, April 2 and end on Saturday, April 30. There will be 2 weekday games as well.
Super Block Saturday Game Time will be 9AM,10:15AM,11:15AM. Ages 4 will play at 9AM each week, Age 5 will play at 10:15AM. Grades 1/2, 3/4, 5/6 will play alternating times each week at 9AM or 10:15AM. Grade 7/8 will play at the SuperBlock as well. This time will be at 11:30AM on Saturday mornings as well. These games in the 2015 Spring Season will be played on Fields 4-7 as designated on the schedule.
What About Practices?
Practices are set by your coach, which they try to work with everyone's schedule as
best possible. The practices will be no more than two hours once or twice a week. Remember skills take time to develop and practice, either at home or on the field is where skills are developed!
When Will I Be Notified and What About A Game Schedule?
In a couple of days or so, a coach will be contacting you regarding team practice. If they do not, please contact the appropriate league commissioner for more information.
Also, please check the website a day or so before Saturday, March 28 to see when you will play that day. Don't forget to periodically check the schedule during the season to confirm when you team plays.
What About Weather? How do I Know About Cancellation?
We will certainly play in the rain, unless it is lightening. If torrential rains continue, the Park District may prohibit play on the fields.

What Equipment Do I Need?
All players need to have the following for EVERY practice and game:
1-Shin Guards that fit underneath soccer socks
2-Size 3 (4,5 thru 1/2 Grade), Size 4 (3/4,5/6), Size 5 (7/8/9)
3-Water Bottle for Every Practice and Every Game
4-Appropriate Clothes for Spring Weather
5-Tennis Shoes for 4/5 Year Olds
6-Soccer Shoes (no front cleat like baseball) for Grades 1/2 and up.
7-Tshirt to wear under your jersey for Graded 1-8. Prek and K receive a tshirt they may keep.
IMPORTANT:
NO JEWELRY ALLOWED REGARDLESS. This includes earrings. You will not be permitted to practice or play.
Medical Alert bracelets and necklaces must be secured on the player with tape.
