SVA Wins 7 Championships at Hudson Columbus Day Tournament

Seven Soccer Vision Academy teams won titles at the Hudson Columbus Day Tournament including SVMilano (U13 Boys) and SVA Girls '00 (U13 Girls) who gave up no goals through their four games played.

The five other winners include P24 Masia (U9 Boys), SVA Girls '04 (U9 Girls), P24 (U10 Boys), SVA Girls '03 (U10 Girls) and SVLona (U14 Boys).

P24 Masia opened with a 5-0 win against Twinsburg Tigers Blue before defeating KFC Blue 6-1 on Saturday and Neo United 5-4 on Sunday.

SVA Girls '04 started with a 4-1 win over AC Twinsburg Blue before tying SVA 10 3-3 and defeating Twinsburg White 5-0. They were the only team in their group that had a postive goal differential, which was eight.

P24 won the final on Sunday over Kenston FC 6-1 after winning pool play by scores of 7-2, 7-2, and 6-1. SVA Girls '03 finished with a goal differential of 12 going undefeated with wins of 4-1, 5-2, 5-0 and 3-2. Their 3-2 win came in the final over OSU Strikers who they beat 5-2 in pool play.

SVMilano defeated PFC Pittsburgh 3-0 to open the tournament and hit them with the same score in the final for the championship. Their other wins came by a 5-0 score over Kenston Futbol Club and 3-0 over Aurora 13's.

SVA Girls '00 scored 11 goals and gave up zero while winning the championship game 1-0 over PFC Explosion who the defeated 2-0 to open the tournament. The team's other two wins came against AAFC Patriots (3-0) and Neo United (5-0).

SVLona was the only team in their division to win all their games as the opened with a 3-0 win over CKSC on Saturday followed by a 6-3 win over BSA. On Sunday, the boys topped CAK Select 5-0 and Kenston FC 5-0 to win it all.
